Created 2 Projects

We are part of this years NCS program and we are currently taking part in our third and fourth week, which is social action. We have set ourselves the challenge of raising money and more importantly awareness for a charity of our choice. As a group, we have decided to choose the Moving On Project, which is a charity working in Fareham and Gosport, to provide help for young people aged 11-25. They offer confidential, discrete support, including free counselling to local young people, to improve their lives.

Founded in 1995, the moving on project offers free counselling for young people around Fareham and Gosport. As youths ourselves, we understand the pressures of growing up and relate to the difficulties young people face that could be potentially damaging during the progression into adult life.

Counselling can make a big difference, as some of us know from using their service ourselves. Therefore, it is close to our hearts and we would like to give back to this incredible organisation.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small. We will also be holding fundraising events over the next week such as bag packing, a sponsored cycle, a family fun day and a pub quiz. Check out our social media pages for more information about our fundraisers and how to show your support.
