We are NCS group U0802 and we are doing a car wash fundraiser in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. We will be doing it on Wednesday the 31st of July in the Alton Town Park car park.
The reason we chose to support the Cystic Fibrosis Trust because some of the members in our group have a friend who has a sibling affected by CF, and they were keen to help the charity knowing how it can effect people. People who have CF normally dont survive through their teenage years.
We will use the funds to donate directly to the CF Trust, along with the money raised at the car wash.
Any donations that our left over from our own budget will be donated straight to the charity.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis. Their mission is to create a world where being born with CF no longer means a lifelong burden of care and an early death, when everyone living with the condition will be able to look forward to a long, healthy life. They support research into the disease as well as offering greater support for clinics and advice for those affected by the disease.
We would appreciate any amount of donations and thank you for your support.
