Hello everybody,

For our NCS Social action project we have chosen to fund-raise for the charity Naomi House. We are fundraising by cycling  the distance from Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) to Naomi House in Winchester and back which is 48.2 km (30 miles) each. As each member of the group will be contributing towards our challenge, the goal is a WHOPPING 435 KILOMETRES !!! (270 miles).

Naomi House and Jacksplace provide care to more than 300 children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. We have chosen Naomi House as we want to support children in need. Many members of the group have had personal experiences with the charity who provided help and care when they needed it most. We feel that it is important to help give back to those less fortunate and as Naomi House helps to give care and support to children up to 16 years of age, so we feel as though we can relate more to these people as we are aged between 15-16, which will help us to raise more money in order to really help make a difference to their lives.

We will be donating the funds straight to Naomi House to help them continue to deliver the vital services that make an enormous difference to the lives of life-limited and life-threatened local children, young adults and their families.

We appreciate anything you could donate. Every little helps!

Thank you for your support.
