We are Team 8 a group of 15 and 16 year olds looking to make a difference within our local community, by working with the elderly to build bridges, and crush social stigmas! We also aim to help clean up our streets, by doing a sponsored litter pick up to promote a greener society and better climate in the future. By volunteering at a local elderly residence, Avenue Care Home, off the Avenue in Fareham, we aim to decrease loneliness and raise awareness of the 9 million people in the UK suffering alone.

Who are we?

12 tenacious teenagers trying to make an impact on social groups in our local community.

What are we doing?

On Tuesday 30th July, and Thursday 1st August we are volunteering at Avenue Care Home in Fareham, doing a quiz, playing games, getting the know residences, playing and singing music, baking goods for the residents and many more.

And on the Wednesday 31st July, you are doing litter picking from Fareham Train Station down to Stubbington Green, and up back round Collingwood Retail Park.

Who/what are we raising money for?

We are raising money for Avenue Care Home to build a summerhouse in their garden, so they can chill and be entertained throughout the warmer months of the year.
